This page is designed to:
1. Let you preview a course before you register for it. The first two weeks of work is active. The balance is not active here but is active on the CD. You are welcome to download any course and go through the first two weeks of work.
2. Let you take the first two weeks work in a course you have registered for. You may have ordered the CD that goes with the course but it has not yet arrived. If you already have the CD, you do not need this.
How does this work? Each course is in a self extracting zip format that you will download and install on your hard drive and use from there. When downloading is finished, two things will happen. (1) The program will be open automatically for you to begin work. (2) You will find a icon on your desktop that will open the program that is now installed on your C: drive in "Programs". You can also start the program by clicking on "launch".
When you click on one of the courses below, a screen may appear as follows:
"Would you like to open the file or save it to your computer?"
Your answer: Save. The software begins to download. When it is finished, the word "open" appears. Click on "open". Step (1) above is finished. You are looking at the first page of the course. Begin to work. when you are finished for the day, click on "Exit".
Keep in mind that if you are using this while you wait for your CD to arrive, no questions about the delivery of your CD will be answered until two weeks into the course. If you do not have your CD by then, email your instructor.
